ZephyrTattoos

I’m a second generation tattoo artist out of Winona, Minnesota. I started tattooing when I was 17 years old, 2005, with my father as my mentor. I run the shop Red Wing Tattoo with my husband, Casey.
Alongside tattooing, I also love permanent cosmetics, makeup, animals, food, crafting, and just spending time with my family.
I take pride In my shop running as a safe space for all people. Being an LGBTQ+ run shop has been very important to me.

DalylaNoelTattoos

Dalyla completed a full apprenticeship under Zephyr Morason and has been tattooing since February 2022.

They prioritize linework pieces and patchwork style, with a preference towards surrealism animals. They love cartoon pieces and also really like doing text tattoos.

Dalyla is appointment only but she does participate in our monthly walk-in events!

We run by appointment only. Please email us a descriptive email with what you'd like. Including but not limited to; description of the piece, specific placement on your body, sizing in inches, and if you have an artist prefrence.

We founded Red Wing Tattoo in 1997 in with one mission: to bring creativity and artistic quality to the tattoo and body piercing scene in the upper Mississippi River Valley. Originally located in Red Wing, MN, we relocated to Winona in 2000.
Our staff is made of seasoned pros ready to bring your vision to reality, no matter how complex.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have you made changes to the way you set up appointments due to Covid-19?

Red Wing Tattoo follows MDH and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our clients as well as our artists.

All consults now start with an email or phone call. Please include your tattoo idea description (with photos if possible), size in inches, as well as desired placement. Click here to email

Please be aware we have a long list of clients that had appointments pushed back due to our closure during Covid, so you will have to wait to get an appointment. Once an appointment time is set, a deposit is required.

What are you doing differently during appointments due to Covid-19?

We do not allow any walk in business, so clients will have to wait in their car and call to let staff know they have arrived. Please be aware NO CHILDREN are allowed to accompany clients at this time, but we are now allowing ONE guest per customer.
Once inside, all clients and guests are screened for Covid, and have their temperature taken. If you fail the screening, you will have to reschedule your appointment.
EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK DUE TO THE LONG DURATION OF CLOSE CONTACT WITH OUR STAFF. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE!

I want a tattoo but I’m on a limited budget. How do you determine pricing?

Tattoo pricing is determined by the amount of time it will take to complete the work. This is typically by the hour. Artists take things like artwork placement, size, and fine details into account when quoting prices.
Keep in mind larger pieces such as sleeves are completed in several sessions, so you would never pay for the entire piece at once.

Do you have specific aftercare instructions and/or products?

All tattoo clients are provided written aftercare instructions to help them care for their tattoo as it heals. This initial care makes a big difference in what your tattoo will look like in the long run.
We offer Steriwash piercing aftercare solution for sale. Our clients love this product and have had an easier time healing their fresh piercings when using this product.

Tattoo Aftercare

Love Your Tattoos

Written aftercare instructions are provided with every tattoo. Please follow these instructions until your tattoo is fully healed.

This is very important to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment from your new artwork.

Try to avoid direct sunlight on your new tattoo for at least 30 days. Sunlight and artificial tanning lights may bleach colors out prematurely.

Always use sun screen during any activities when exposed to direct sunlight to preserve your colors.

NO SWIMMING, SOAKING, STEAM BATHS, JACUZZIS or SAUNAS. AVOID CHLORINATED WATER AND TANNING BEDS W/FRESH TATTOOS

SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION FROM A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE ANY

SIGNS OF INFECTION
