Their method MIGHT vary from ours..and they might not help you out if you start taking care of your piercings other then the way they suggest. If they refuse to be of help to you regarding your aftercare of difficulty in healing, Your welcome to stop in to the shop during business hours and let us try and help you.
Now....
The Basics:
Piercings when taken care of properly will rarely become infected or irritated. If you follow the aftercare advice provided by your piercer, it is unlikely that you will encounter any difficulties throughout the healing. If you do come across any difficulties or problems be sure to give us a call at 507-454-3452
Don'ts!:
-DO NOT use chemicals (eg rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Neosporin, Polysporin) these for the healing or your piercings.
-DO NOT touch your piercing with dirty hands! (QUIT PLAYING WITH IT) always wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning your piercing. The biggest thing to remember is basic hygiene.
-DO NOT go into hot tubs, lakes, rivers, pools, bath tub, or Jacuzzis for at lease a week preferably two. Showers are perfectly fine!
-DO NOT remove jewelry or change your jewelry for the first time before consulting your piercer (we will change it for you for free if you like!)
How To Clean And Care:
Consult your piercer, as aftercare for every piercing and person can vary. Call us if you have any questions, or IF you don't remember what we told you.
Infection:
Most people that think their piercing is infected are wrong. It's usually an irritation. If you feel that there is a problem with your piercing. the first thing you should do is contact your piercer. Do not remove the jewelry.
